1. Who We Are

Omnalyst (“we”, “us”, “our”) is an AI-powered data analytics platform operated by Malay Doshi, trading as Omnalyst, based at Sonal, Ramkrishna Nagar Street No.11, Near Municipal Garden, Rajkot, Gujarat 360002, India. You can reach us at privacy@omnalyst.app.

2. What Data We Collect

• Account information: Your name, email address, and password (stored as a one-way hash) when you register. If you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email, and profile picture from Google.
• Uploaded files: Data files (CSV, Excel, JSON, Parquet) you upload for analysis. These are stored temporarily on our servers for the duration of the analysis and deleted automatically after processing completes.
• Analysis results: The outputs generated by our AI pipeline (summaries, statistics, charts, insights) are stored in our database so you can revisit your reports.
• Usage data: Number of analyses run, subscription plan, and timestamps. Used to enforce plan limits and improve the service.
• Payment information: We do not store card details. Payments are processed by Razorpay. We receive only a subscription status and transaction ID.
• Copilot chat history: Messages you exchange with the AI Copilot about your analysis results.

3. How We Use Your Data

• To provide, operate, and improve the Omnalyst service
• To run your data through our AI analysis pipeline
• To manage your account and subscription
• To send transactional emails (account confirmation, billing receipts)
• To enforce usage limits per your subscription plan
• We do not sell your data to third parties
• We do not use your uploaded datasets to train AI models

4. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services to operate Omnalyst:

• Anthropic (Claude API): Your uploaded data is sent to Anthropic's Claude API for AI analysis. Anthropic's privacy policy applies to API usage. Data sent via the API is not used to train Anthropic's models per their API terms.
• Razorpay: Payment processing. Your payment details are handled directly by Razorpay and are subject to their privacy policy.
• Google OAuth: Optional sign-in method. Subject to Google's Privacy Policy.
• Cloudflare: Infrastructure, CDN, and DNS. Cloudflare may process request metadata per their privacy policy.

5. Data Retention

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. Uploaded data files are deleted after analysis completes. Analysis results (the AI-generated report) are retained until you delete them or close your account. You can delete individual analyses or your entire account at any time from within the product.

6. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access: Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you
• Correction: Update incorrect information in your account settings
• Deletion: Delete individual analyses or your entire account and all associated data using the in-app controls
• Portability: Export your analysis results in CSV, PDF, or other supported formats at any time

7. Cookies

We use strictly necessary cookies only: an authentication cookie to keep you signed in, and a short-lived secure cookie during Google OAuth sign-in. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.

8. Security

We use industry-standard security practices including HTTPS, bcrypt password hashing, JWT-based authentication with short expiry windows, and httpOnly cookies. No system is perfectly secure; if you discover a vulnerability, please contact us immediately at security@omnalyst.app.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy. When we do, we'll update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
